Bachelor of Environments: Property

I chose the Bachelor of Environments because it has a good mixture of environment and finance subjects which give me wider options for my future studies and career.

I decided to major in Property because property is a growing industry that offers a promising career.

My favourite subject was Cities: From Local to Global. It was an interesting subject about urban planning. Topics that students studied included urban problems and solutions, consideration of food distributions to neighbourhoods and reviewing how cities can learn from each other.

To me, studying at the University of Melbourne meant a golden opportunity to learn and get myself prepared for the workforce.

My advice to new students is to always prioritise important things but have a balanced lifestyle.

I am looking forward to be in the workforce after studying for so many years – just to be well-equipped to work.

The BEnvs helped me prepare to be more critical about the important issues of property and start me thinking about how these issues can affect the property industry.

My personal motto is… There is no disgrace in admitting you are scared, but there is disgrace in failing to try – (Frank Bettger)
