Bachelor of Environments: Virtual Environments Headspace Project

I chose the Bachelor of Environments because it provides a multi-disciplinary outlook by combining the sciences, technology and design aspects of the built, virtual and natural environments.

I decided to major in Architecture because I want to contribute to the future of our built environment.

My favourite subjects were Virtual Environments and all of the architectural design studios because of the interactive studio-based classes where a finalised visual composition is produced at the conclusion.

To me, studying at the University of Melbourne meant future opportunities, not only on a local but also an international scale due to the University of Melbourne’s global recognition.

My advice to new students is take advantage of the university’s facilities, especially the Architecture Library. It’s a treasure trove!

I am looking forward to further study within the design field, including international exposure.

The BEnvs helped prepare me for designing within restrictions, for prospective clients and for the future environment, with a developed awareness of shaping and managing environments in a sustainable way.

Five words that sum me up are… Innovative, assiduous, adaptable, collaborative, purist.

My personal motto is… I have no motto. I wish I did. It would be great if I had one.
